to be okay. they proceeded to go to the hospital. allie rasmus. ktvu. >>> two people were injured after an accident shut down 880 last night. that happened on 2:30 a.m. near the a street exit. chp said four cars were involved. one truck overturned and the crash is still under investigation >>> there is a lot of storm damage to be cleaned up all over the bay area. and the wind and rain in san francisco caused the anding of a gas station to collapse on to a car. this happened at 17th. the driver is grateful no one was hurt. >> i was grateful we weren't in there. >> the anding did, however, cause damage to the hood and trunk. there were no customers pumping gas at the time. the pumps were not damaged which they said is lucky. because there could have been an explosion. >>> flooding shut down the lanes of the great highway in san francisco. drivers are being urged to slow down and look out for standing water. >> it knocked out power to thousands in the bay area. >> more than 700 businesses in bay point are in the dark. san rafael dealing with this. and they lost power yesterday. pg&e said i

news coverage starts right now. this is ktvu mornings on 2. >> good morning. welcome. it's saturday december 29th. >> good morning. wet, windy across parts of the bay area. let's check in with rosemary. >> good morning. a weak system that is beginning to move out of the area already. giving you a look around the bay area. picking up partly cloudy skies. most of us with gray skies and here is some of that last bit of rain. the system will push toward the south. seeing just a lit of bit of light rain over morgan hill. low snow level down to 3,000 feet. some of the mountains could pick up a dusting of snow. they could pick up an up much or two before it's done. backing up to see. here is the center of the storm. now west of monterey. it'll continue to sink south and taking the rain with it. for most of us it'll be a chilly one. temperatures right now in the 40s and it's breezy. what you can expect at this hour and what you can expect for the afternoon coming up. >> and happening now a high srf advisory along bay area beaches on the heels of the tragic death of a man and boy who were

coverage continues. this is ktvu mornings on 2. >> and good morning. welcome to mornings on two. it's saturday december 22nd. >> good morning. round two, blowing through the bay area right now. let's get to rosemary. >> yes. good morning. giving you a look here. you can seat shift as the storm continues to move south and west in the overnight. really roar through the area. isolated storms reported. the gusty conditions, anywhere from 30 miles an hour to 50. power lines down. we have trees falling in some areas, now this is what is left. we have light rain continues over central and southern portions of the bay area. they have lightened up a little bit. the rain has tapered off. this will continue to push to the south and east. this morning another this hour, slick roads, ponding on the highway. still breezy conditions but improving weather into the afternoon. i will show you what you can expect. >> and another round of rain is trenching parts of the bay area. there is still more wet weather on the way. want to give you a live look outside. there is the bay bridge and the new east
